There's plenty of reason to expect great modern Italian cuisine at Gigi's Restaurant and Bar in Corrimal St.
Co-owners, brothers Giuseppe and Roberto Gigliotti have been brought up on wholesome, authentic Italian fare and everything in the restaurant from the pasta to the tiramisu is made from scratch with the freshest of ingredients.
The team has brought on board chef Paolo De Luca - who hails from Milano Italy. "Chef Paolo brings a fantastic modern Italian touch to his traditional cooking, his Italian background truly marry's well with what I want to produce here in the restaurant..." says Giuseppe - "Our basic motto is great food & great service that you just don't find anywhere else".
"The beauty of Italian and Mediterranean food is its simplicity and we've kept our menus simple and concise and we produce specials that take people away on a European holiday with every bite they take... I promise!!"
The restaurant is opened seven days a week for breakfast, lunch & dinner.
There are separate menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner plus a tapas menu for those after a quick snack over a glass or two of wine.
Our pasta's are our signature dishes, my aunty Gina comes in everyday and makes fresh, lasagna, gnocchi, ravioli, pappardelle & tagliatelle - people just can't believe how good they taste. It's the freshness and the simplicity in the cooking that makes our pasta's the best around...
